What You’ll Do
The District Education Manager (DEM ), Central leads the education strategy for the market across MN, WI, IL, TX and OH . They develop and execute actionable education plans aligned with business goals and oversee the instructors delivering learning experiences within Dermalogica Learning Lofts and in-field education. The role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight to maintain Dermalogica’s standards and drive business success.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, the DEM ensures education initiatives are fully aligned with business growth strategies and the evolving needs of professional skin therapists. This leader fosters a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the education team.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning & Productivity Management
Plan and execute a balanced education calendar that meets the needs of the market, integrating core curriculum, national account training, and undergraduate programs to drive engagement and growth. Oversee instructor scheduling to ensure efficient use of time, alignment with business priorities, and consistent education coverage across the district. Hold teams accountable for maintaining accurate calendars, achieving productivity goals, and delivering high-quality education experiences that support business impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales District Managers, Corporate Operations and Marketing to align education with business objectives and the evolving needs of professional skin therapists. Collaborate with your manager on resource planning, team alignment, and strategic initiatives to balance educator capacity with business priorities while upholding Dermalogica’s high standards of education delivery.
Performance & Goal Management
In partnership with the National Education Director, set clear expectations, monitor performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement across the district. Track key performance indicators for education delivery, attendance, and business impact, using data-driven insights to guide coaching, development, and strategic planning. Collaborate with your direct manager to review progress and align priorities, ensuring district goals support national objectives .
Team Leadership & Culture
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture where educators feel supported, valued, and motivated to grow. Lead with Dermalogica’s core values of education, expertise, and human connection through consistent coaching, recognition, and purposeful leadership that drives engagement and accountability
Mentorship & Development
Coach and develop instructors through regular feedback, performance conversations, and ongoing training. Partner with the National Training Manager to cultivate team growth and advancement through ongoing development, ensuring educators continuously elevate their skills and deliver impactful learning experiences across all platforms.

Key Qualifications :

2+ years of strategic leadership experience, ideally within the skincare or retail industry and supporting multi-location or field-based teams. Demonstrated success in developing and executing education strategies that drive business growth and professional engagement.

What We Offer
The expected base salary for this position is $65,000-75, 000 OR The expected base hourly pay rate. The exact base pay rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
