Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) Children’s Center seeks a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant, year-round program. Our teachers value each child and family as individuals, fostering creativity, curiosity, and Jewish identity through play, exploration, and strong relationships.
About the Role
As a teacher at TBS, you will :
- Create a welcoming, nurturing classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Plan, implement, and adapt curriculum based on children’s needs and interests.
- Partner with families to share insights and support learning at home and school.
- Collaborate with your teaching team to deliver high-quality education that reflects our school’s values.
- Ensure a safe and caring environment while guiding substitutes and classroom volunteers.

Monday–Friday, year-roundTeaching hours : 10 : 15 a.m. – 6 : 15 p.m.Paid time included for planning, family communication, and classroom preparation.Compensation & Benefits
TBS offers a transparent and equitable compensation model with salary enhancements based on education, certification, and experience.
Base Salary : $51,500 (Classroom Teacher) / $49,500 (Whole School Teacher)Additional Pay :BA Degree : +$2,000BA in Education : +$1,000MA in Education : +$1,000EEC Lead Teacher Certification : +$1,000Prior Experience : +$500 per year (up to 7 years)Join Us
