Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to join a 94-bed hospital on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience who is open to an adventure in a beautiful, rural location.

Assignment Details :

Location : Kona, Hawaii (Big Island)

Setting : 94-bed inpatient hospital

Start : ASAP or October 27th

Duration : 13 weeks+ contract (with potential to extend)

Schedule : Primarily day shifts; some evenings and weekends required

Systems : EPIC, Pyxis

Travel : Non-taxable travel stipends available for lodging, meals, and incidentals

Requirements :

Active Hawaii Pharmacist license (in good standing)

Minimum 12 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

Strong clinical knowledge, with ability to handle order verification, pharmacokinetics, and medication distribution

Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
