POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mobile Podiatrist to join our team and provide expert podiatric care to our elderly patients in their homes. Coverage areas include East and West San Diego County, including but not limited to San Diego, Encinitas, Vista, Oceanside, & Carlsbad).

This role requires a dedicated healthcare professional who can create a safe and respectful environment while addressing a variety of podiatric conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to develop individualized treatment plans, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Driving is a required aspect of this position, as you will be traveling to various patient locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care

• Deliver expert podiatric care, addressing conditions such as diabetic foot care, bunions, calluses, corns, and ingrown toenails.
• Perform routine foot care services, including nail trimming, corn and callus removal, and preventative care.
• Provide lower extremity wound care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of wounds to promote healing and prevent complications.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
• Order DME products as necessary, including diabetic shoes and wound care dressings.
