Must-Have : 5 years of experience in Oncology

Description :

This is a Nurse Navigator role.

The candidate will help patients who are currently receiving ongoing oncology treatment.

The role involves an administrative workload in managing all aspects of patient care.

Locals are welcome to apply.

This position will be part of a new state-of-the-art cancer center.

The ideal candidate will be willing to accept a permanent position after the 13-week assignment.

Candidates with oncology experience are preferred.

Certification in ONS / ONCC is required.

Experience in administration of chemotherapy and blood products is necessary.

Candidates will be responsible for the care and management of central lines and ports.

Experience with acute tumor lysis syndrome and anaphylaxis is essential.

Candidates should be knowledgeable in monitoring chemotherapy and patient management during treatments.

This role does not require weekend shifts or on-call duties.

Floating between units is not required.

References from supervisory roles within the last three years are necessary.
