Job Description

Job Title : Operations and Safety Coordinator

Job Location : Bellflower, CA

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Operations & Safety Coordinator supports the day-to-day safety and operational functions. This position helps ensure that the organization’s facilities, IT, and safety processes run efficiently and comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including Cal-OSHA standards.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Safety Coordination

  • Assist in implementing occupational health and safety policies and

procedures.

  • Support compliance efforts with federal, state, and local safety laws,

    • regulations, codes, and rules.

    Incident and Reporting Support

  • Track and maintain accident and incident reports.
  • Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

    • Safety Awareness and Prevention

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce workplace injuries, accidents,

    • and health hazards.

  • Support administrative tasks for safety training and awareness initiatives.

    • Administrative and Operational Support

  • Provide general support to the Operations team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    • SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in operations, safety coordination, or administrative support

    • (nonprofit or construction environment a plus).

  • Basic understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA and Cal-OSHA

    • standards.

  • Strong organizational skills to track incidents, maintain records, and support

    • compliance documentation.

  • Problem-solving skills to support operational and safety needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and

    • ability to learn other software tools.
