About the Role :

The Director of Risk Management oversees the effective operation of all patient safety and risk management activities across the hospital. This includes managing claim investigations, conducting risk assessments for new services, leading root cause analyses, and facilitating the Patient Safety Council. The Director will also collaborate closely with department heads and executives to implement corporate and facility-wide risk reduction strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee claim management functions, investigations, and data analysis.
• Conduct and review risk assessments for new or existing services.
• Lead root cause analyses and monitor related corrective action plans.
• Manage Patient Safety Council initiatives and TERM program implementation.
• Partner with executive and departmental leadership to drive compliance and safety standards.
• Educate staff on regulatory and risk prevention processes.
