Looking for a long-term, reliable, compassionate, motivated, and responsible individual to join our staff at a Level 4i Adult Residential Facility.

We support and serve individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
We currently have a part time position available to work as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

The ideal applicant:

• Must be focused and able to implement structure and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's).
• Have a positive attitude, friendly, and energetic personality with great patience since this is a behavioral home and we work with behaviors such as verbal aggression, attention seeking, and occasional noncompliance.
• Will be able to follow directions and complete the requests and tasks from management.

The staff member:

• Will be responsible for the cleanliness and laundry needs of the facility along with occasional light cooking.
• Will ensure the care and supervision of residents in any emergency by utilizing appropriate emergency measures.
• Will follow behavioral plans and make appropriate documentation, provide assistance and guidance with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene reminders and guidance, and assist in medication self-administration, other duties include housekeeping of the facility.
• Will transport and accompany the individuals on outings in the community and to and from doctors appointments.

Certifications (recommended but not required):

• DSP 1
• DSP 2
• First Aid/CPR
• Pro-Act/CPI

Shifts Needed to Fulfill:
Saturday 8:30am-8:30pm (or 9am-9pm)
Sunday 8:30am-8:30pm (or 9am-9pm)
Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday 1pm-9pm

Some hours during the week may be available.

Pay Rate (DOE):
$17-$22 / hour
