About the Role : We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to improving financial processes.

What You'll Do :

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• File and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team and vendors to improve accounting systems and software functionality.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Take on additional accounting or finance projects as needed.
