Job Title : CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist for our 2nd shift. You will play a crucial role in manufacturing firefighting equipment such as handline nozzles, apparatus valves, industrial valves, and more. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your machining skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Mill machining centers.
• Allocate 40% of your time to performing setups and changeouts, and 60% to monitoring machine runs, performing inspections, and maintaining work areas.
• Conduct 1 to 3 setups per shift, managing runs from 20 to 200 parts.
• Operate Toyoda and Okuma Horizontal Milling Centers, running two machines simultaneously.
• Read and interpret component prints or drawings.
• Utilize micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, and fixtures on machines.
• Perform touch editing of CNC mill machinery.
• Maintain a tolerance of + / - .002.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.04 - $29.54 / hr.
