About The Position

We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Wyoming. This position starts Sep 1, 2025, with a schedule of 7a-7p shifts, requiring 7-14 shifts per month, typically structured as 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The role involves collaboration with an emergency department and a dedicated COVID team in a Trauma facility with an open ICU.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate closely with the emergency department to manage airway emergencies and other critical situations.
  • Handle responsibilities in an open ICU setting including ventilator management, central lines, and intubation.
  • Support attending hospitalist throughout the shift, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate with various specialty consultants including Nephrology, Tele-ICU, Tele-Psych, and Radiology.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.

  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Wyoming
  • Experience in inpatient and acute care settings is required
