Certified Nursing Assistant - Neurology

Up to $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Certified Nursing Assistant - Neurology at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center - Spokane, WA. Shift : Average 36 hours weekly, 12-hour night shifts, full-time position. The Nursing Assistant functions within his / her scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan. S / he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s). Following orientation, s / he assumes delegated responsibility which may include (but not be limited to) such tasks as : meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort and safety needs of patients; obtains and reports vitals signs (TPR and BP); performs urine reductions, transports (transfers, discharges) patients; obtains supplies / equipment as necessary from designated departments.

Required Qualifications :

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
