A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to manage billing operations efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely submission of clinical encounters to insurance plans with accurate coding

Serve as the billing expert, troubleshooting and resolving billing-related issues

Generate and analyze reports using various billing systems and conduct audits for improvement

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in medical billing within a managed care primary care setting

Strong understanding of CPT II codes for Quality and HEDIS reporting

Solid knowledge of HMO / PPO medical insurance procedures

Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and processing

Ability to perform basic arithmetic for routine calculations
