Descripción del trabajoProvide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any unusual activity. Observe and report any security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal and / or site management as required. Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior within the retail environment. Support loss prevention efforts by being attentive to suspicious activities and reporting them promptly. Document all incidents and activities in accordance with company and client procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment at a busy retail location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and maintain open communication with clients and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to use your keen observation and communication skills while on patrol. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
