Database Administrator (Oracle)

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology / related discipline is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS :

Department of Defense TS / SCI security clearance is required at time of hire with the ability to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Requirement : A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570 / 8140.01) certification is required at time of hire : e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security

This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense / intelligence services and systems. What You'll Experience :

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure they run smoothly and securely.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with web and database servers.
• Perform daily backups, check server health, and document findings.
• Develop and apply security strategies for database management.
• Support important operations and provide after-hours assistance when necessary.
