What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to visitors, students, faculty, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of individuals at the location, helping to maintain a secure environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with campus personnel and first responders as needed.

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident reports, and visitor logs while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals entering or exiting the location, answering questions and providing directions as necessary.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as instructed.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
