What You'll Be Doing

Main Function :   The Intake & Group Clinician is responsible for conducting comprehensive intake assessments and facilitating therapeutic group sessions for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. This is a dual-role position, which offers a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy fast-paced, varied clinical work and are looking to strengthen their diagnostic and group facilitation skills within a supportive, team-based environment. The clinician will complete biopsychosocial assessments, determine level of care, enter data into NJSAMS, and lead evidence-based group therapy sessions across age groups. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who values structure, clinical growth, and working with diverse populations.

What We're Looking For

Full Time Day Shift ( Varied Schedule)

Education : Master’s Degree required in Counseling, Social Work, or Related Field

Experience :   2-4 yrs (required);

Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred.

Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in mental health and / or substance use treatment settings.

Familiarity with DSM-5-TR, ASAM Criteria, and intake / diagnostic processes.

Proficiency with NJSAMS or willingness to learn with training support.

Experience facilitating group therapy across age groups preferred.

Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team.
