Primary Purpose :
To facilitate the efficient and effective operations of the Special Education Central Office and provide clerical services to the Executive Director and other staff members.
Qualifications : Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years school district clerical experience
Special Knowledge / Skills :
- Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Google Docs / Sheets, Skyward
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and work in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of District organization and operations, as required for this position
Major Responsibilities and Duties :
Maintain Excel / Google spreadsheets on all fund source budgets.Ensure all budgets are up-to-date and process appropriate budget transfers and journal vouchers.Process all purchase orders and maintain records of all purchases.Process all contract agreements and maintain renewal. Maintain records of contracts.Process direct pays for contract personnel.Facilitate day-to-day operations necessary to the smooth functioning of the Special Education Office.Update all special education forms.Provide necessary information to staff and process reservations and registrations for proper development of plans and programs for educating students with disabilities.Maintain extensive files for the Executive Director and make such files available to authorized personnel.Answer the telephone and give information to callers or route to appropriate personnel.Manage SHARS / Medicaid Reimbursement / Random Moment Time Studies.Distribute materials to campuses to assigned personnel.Complete state and regional reports as required and process in a timely manner.Perform other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibility :
