Skills: Nurses in the clinic room patients, perform phlebotomy, central line care, assist with bone marrow biopsies, vaccinations, EKG, phone triage, facilitate patients to be scheduled appropriately for infusions, patient education/phone calls, and case management. She may be working with both the malignant and non-malignant hematology teams.
Certs: BCLS

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Adult hematology patient population - both malignant and benign hematology only
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Bone Marrow biopsies, manual diffs, triage, phlebotomy, central line access, patient education, patient assessment - Manual diffs are done by lab personnel not RNs; case management
PATIENT GROUPS: Adults - needs EPIC Dimensions ambulatory clinic supervised access (ED) and NHMG/Oncology clinical orientation (not inpatient/acute orientation); will need API access to clock in and out
