Coos Bay, Oregon – Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity (Permanent, Full-Time) Position Overview
Role : Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient (hospital + clinic)
Schedule :
Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Shared call (Echo rotation, including weekend reading)
Practice Location :
Bay Area Hospital (127-bed, Level III Trauma Center)
Prefontaine Cardiovascular Clinic
Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret :
EKGs, Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, Nuclear Imaging
Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Cardiac Monitoring
Cardioversion
Provide :
Evaluation and management of cardiac conditions
Supervision of cardiac rehab plans
Outreach to nearby critical access hospitals
Patient and family education
Collaborate with :
Internal medicine, hospitalists, cardiology, and other specialties
Maintain timely documentation in EMR
Participate in meetings and clinical policy development
Stay current with CME and board certification standards
Team & Support
Collegial, high-caliber Cardiology team
NP / PA support
Average 10–15 patients / day
Large primary care and community referral base

Candidate Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
Nuclear and Echo Certification strongly preferred
Clean malpractice and background history required
NPDB Self-Query Report required
Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Local residency required – relocation support available
Not a locums role
