Were seeking a passionate and driven Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Palliative Care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

Position Type : Per Diem (0.0 FTE); Inpatient consulting service focusing on goals of care and complex pain management
Schedule : As needed; minimum of 3-4 shifts per quarter
Location : Grand Rapids, Michigan
Specialty : Palliative Care
Teaching Opportunities : Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
Call Requirements : No call

Requirements

Relevant clinical experience in palliative care, geriatric medicine, or critical care populations preferred

APPs : Board certified in specialty prior to employment

Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)

DEA license

BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include :

Providing direct patient care

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Participating in teaching and mentoring

Documenting in Epic EMR

Engaging in quality improvement initiatives

Supporting community health efforts
