Job Title : Lead Java Developer / Java Architect

Location : Preferred open to relocate to East Coast Onsite / Hybrid USA EST Coast

Duration : Long Term Contract

Description

  • We are seeking a strong Lead Java Developer / Java Architect with 10 years experience who can drive design development and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding skills in Java deep experience in microservices architecture cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and be able to mentor technical teams while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture design and development of scalable secure high-performance applications.
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot.
  • Work closely with business analysts product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Define and enforce coding standards CI / CD practices and architectural principles.
  • Perform code reviews troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
  • Collaborate with DevOps team for cloud deployment and release management.

    • Technical Skills Required

  • Core Java Java 11 / 17 strong programming fundamentals.
  • Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Cloud.
  • Microservices Architecture & distributed system design.
  • RESTful APIs design & integration.
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Databases : PostgreSQL / Oracle / MySQL / MongoDB.
  • CI / CD & DevOps tools : Git Maven / Gradle Jenkins Docker Kubernetes.
  • Messaging / Event-streaming : Kafka / MQ / RabbitMQ (preferred).
  • Experience with Caching frameworks like Redis / Hazelcast (plus).
  • Experience with API Gateway Service Mesh OpenAPI / Swagger.
  • Exposure to performance tuning and distributed caching.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Cloud Certifications (AWS / Azure).

    • Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
