Our client is looking to hire a success driven, Staff Accountant II with strong general ledger expertise. The Staff Accountant II is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. As the Staff Accountant II, you will maintain the general ledger, perform balance sheet analysis, assist with expense analysis and reconciliation, prepare supporting schedules, complete fixed asset reporting, enter payroll journal entries into the ERP system, generate monthly bonus calculations, handle employee expense reimbursements, and provide other accounting support as needed. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong budgeting / forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.

Everyday Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting functions
• Month End / Year End Close
• Assist with preparing journal entries
• Maintain general ledger
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Bank Reconciliations
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with the internal and external audit process
• Ad hoc financial analysis projects as requested

Requirements
