Cashier Position
Summary
The Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by accurately
processing orders, handling payments, and maintaining front-of-house
cleanliness and organization. The role
may include working the drive-thru station. The Cashier ensures guests receive
prompt, friendly, and consistent service in accordance with company standards
for quality, safety, and hospitality.
Essential
Functions
- Greets guests in a friendly and
professional manner and provides prompt customer service.
- Promotes special offers and
encourages completion of online review.
- Utilize headset and/or tablet when
assigned as drive-thru Cashier.
- Accurately enters food and beverage
orders into the POS system.
- Processes cash and credit card
transactions in accordance with company cash-handling procedures.
- Bags and prepares take-out orders
and delivers food to guest tables as needed.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and
well-stocked front counter area, including cups, lids, napkins, straws,
and bags.
- Prepares and maintains beverage
stations, including coffee, tea, lemonade, and horchata, to company
standards.
- Maintains cleanliness of dining
areas and beverage stations.
- Ensure patio area and restrooms are
cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
- Responds to guest questions or
concerns and escalates issues to a supervisor when appropriate.
- Follows all food safety,
sanitation, and HACCP procedures, including daily checks.
- Demonstrates pride in service,
teamwork, and representing the brand.
- Performs other duties as assigned
by the Supervisor or Manager.
Job
Requirements
- Basic computer and POS system
proficiency.
- Ability to accurately handle cash
and credit card transactions.
- Strong verbal communication and
customer service skills.

availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended
periods of time.
- Ability to follow written and
verbal instructions.
- Must obtain a Food Handler
Certification within 30 days of hire.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
preferred.
