A company is looking for a Quality Control Specialist, Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Review electronic medical records for HIPAA compliance and authorization limits
Determine the legal right to release medical records based on HIPAA regulations
Mentor new employees and communicate issues to the Lead / Supervisor
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months experience in a medical record setting
Must pass an industry-related course and exam within six months of hire
Maintain current and yearly HIPAA certification
Understanding of state and Federal Laws for Release of Information (ROI)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
