Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Coronary Care Unit / CCU ICU position requiring open heart recovery experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) within an ICU setting
  • Open heart recovery patient population
  • May be required to float to all units within scope of skill level
  • Must provide work history and a skills checklist current within one year relevant to the specialty
  • Copies of all certifications must be included at time of application
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed

    • Requirements

  • Active Ohio or compact RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Immediate open heart recovery experience required, with 3 years recent experience preferred
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
  • All certifications must be current and cannot be pending
