As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting smooth operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while assisting visitors and employees. What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and / or escalate issues as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
