• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Patient ratios range from 1 : 4-6 depending on acuity level
• Acuity adaptable unit with patients ranging from Med Surg to PCU / stepdown / ICU level care
• Float position - may be floated to inpatient PCU unit
• Emergency Department boarding unit with high patient turnover
• Team nursing with RN / LPN collaboration and delegation responsibilities
• Fast-paced environment with up to 15 admissions per day
• 4-bed unit that can expand to 8-10 beds based on need
• 2 years of experience required with PCU experience mandatory
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Cerner charting system experience required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must care for adults and geriatrics
• Complete 4-6 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must have nursing license in hand prior to start date
• No local candidates accepted
