Facility : Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Pflugerville Shift / Status : Full Time, 36 hrs / wk Schedule : Night Shift (7pm – 7am) Main Nursing Unit Patient Population : Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care, Critical Care of beds : 25, with the anticipation of doubling in size with the expansion Patient Ratios : Med Surg / Tele – 1 : 4 / 5, Progressive Care / Intermediate Care – 1 : 3, Intensive Care – 1 : 2 About The Facility Baylor Scott & White - Pflugerville is a full-service hospital, providing a wide network of medical expertise and resources. Baylor Scott & White - Pflugerville features a 25-bed Main Nursing Unit which is a blended unit with three levels of acuity and operates from a multidisciplinary approach in providing the highest standards of nursing care to patients and families. The facility also offers 24 / 7 emergency services (an 8-bed Emergency Department) and surgical services (offering adult and pediatric surgeries). Baylor Scott & White – Pflugerville is currently under construction for an expansion and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The improvements include a brand new heart catheterization lab for minimally invasive procedures, increased imaging options including nuclear medicine, added emergency and trauma services and improvements to operating room capabilities.
