As a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.

Assist in the implementation of security-related procedures tailored to the chemical and petrochemical environment, including adherence to protocols for hazardous materials and restricted areas.

Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures for the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports to support site operations and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support ongoing security-related operations and contribute to a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
