Queens-Long Island Renal Institute, located on the lobby level of the renowned Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, New York, is seeking a Full Time Office Coordinator, skilled in administrative support and a strong health care background to join our team of professionals.

QLIRI provides state-of-the-art in-center hemodialysis treatment for kidney disease patients. Our experienced interdisciplinary team of nephrologists and renal nurses offer chronic dialysis services in a comfortable and modern setting. Located on the Queens-Nassau border, Queens-Long Island Renal Institute has a longstanding reputation for the finest quality of care, state-of-the-art technology and uncompromised dignity.

Position Overview :

The Office Coordinator reviews and processes patient admission packets including verifying primary and secondary insurance for prospective patients and provides patient information to nurse manager for admission decision. The position is also responsible for coordinating CROWNWeb participation. The Office Manager manages the administrative tasks of the facility including filing, processing paperwork, reporting, and reviewing payroll.

Position Qualifications :

  • College degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with all levels of staff.
  • CROWN Web experience preferred
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
