Ohio Licensed Associate General Counsel

A company is looking for an AVP, Associate General Counsel - Financial Regulations & NF Reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a legal team supporting Corporate Treasury and various financial transactions

Drive operational excellence and identify efficiencies in NF Reinsurance and financial regulation support

Liaise with state insurance departments for approvals on financial transactions and provide strategic thought leadership

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an American Bar Association-accredited law school

Fully licensed to practice law in the relevant state(s) in good standing

Typically ten years of legal practice with regulatory legal experience preferred

Experience in corporate finance, banking law, and state insurance financial regulation

Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience interfacing with senior leadership
