About the job Controls Superintendent

We're hiring a seasoned Field Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial Building Automation and Controls projects throughout the Gainesville and Jacksonville markets. This role oversees installation teams, interfaces with customers on-site, and ensures technical execution is aligned with project requirements. Candidates should bring strong experience with control system platforms like Niagara, Delta, and Alerton, and a proven ability to manage field technicians in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site teams performing control system installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timeline adherence.
• Serve as the point of contact on active jobs for technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to align fieldwork with design documents and project scope.
• Lead daily planning meetings, assign technician tasks, and resolve issues impacting productivity or quality.
• Review drawings, submittals, and sequence of operations to guide proper system implementation and commissioning.
• Conduct customer walk-throughs, manage punch lists, and drive completion of all field deliverables.
