Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our family law firm.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving practice.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, although we will also considered those recently barred. Family law experience is not required, but an interest and willingness to learn will be.

Responsibilities :

Advocate for clients in legal proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments in the most favorable light.

Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.

Manage all phases of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, reviewing and analyzing responses, and handling discovery disputes.

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.

Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.

Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to effectively manage cases.

Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the legal industry, applying this knowledge to current cases and legal advice.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the California state bar and in good standing.

1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.

Strong research skills, with proficiency in using legal research platforms.

Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.

Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
