New York Licensed Litigation Attorney

A company is looking for a Litigation Attorney to manage complex litigation within foreclosure, real estate, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of contested foreclosure matters from inception through resolution

Appear in state courts throughout New York for conferences, hearings, and motions

Draft, review, and argue motions, and conduct legal research on complex issues

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar

3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in foreclosure, real estate, or financial services

Familiarity with foreclosure-related statutes, court procedures, and e-filing systems (NYSCEF)

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
