- Hands-on experience in architecting technical Salesforce solutions and cross-platform systems.
- Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, which includes Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
- Solid grasp of systems architecture with the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions while prioritizing accessibility.
- Understanding key design patterns, large data volume constraints, and best practices, along with a clear awareness of governor limits.
- Knowledge of data sharing and visibility considerations and their implications for platform security architecture.
- Familiarity with authentication patterns such as SAML, SSO, and OAuth is beneficial.
- Understanding environment management, release management, and best practices for code versioning and deployment methodologies (DevOps).
- Background in designing or developing large web-based or client-server systems, or exposure to the complete software product lifecycle.

- Candidates must hold a Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) certification or have equivalent experience.
- A Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification or equivalent experience is required.
- Expertise in Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Components.
- Proficiency in responsive web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and design systems like SLDS, Bootstrap, and Material Design.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools, including Salesforce CLI (DX IDE), migration tools, SOSL, SOQL, web services, pp builder, and Experience Builder.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the development team, focusing on ongoing support and enhancement of a complex multi-platform solution constructed on Salesforce, Mulesoft, and AWS.Utilize senior-level technical skills to drive problem definitions, conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions.Be accountable for the velocity of builds, staffing, and developing a team that will evolve as they adapt to the new technology and challenges in the system solution ecosystem.Collaborate with Product Owner(s) and Solution Owner to understand customer needs and requirements for development.Champion uncompromised design and code reviews, working closely with quality assurance to embed quality and privacy protections into the development cycle.Proficient in Agile development practices and DevOps protocols with solid technical knowledge in engineering principles and Salesforce development.Lead a team of developers using an Agile Delivery Methodology and deliver against tickets that include defects, enhancements, and security / privacy needs.Company
This position is hybrid, requiring 10% onsite presence in Carson City, NV, meaning you must be prepared to come onsite for one week each quarter at your own expense if you do not already reside in the local area. The contract is expected to last from December 2025 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is $115 per hour (1099 only). I will be asking if you are willing and able to travel to Carson City, NV for one week, per quarter, at your own expense if you are not already local. A bachelors degree is required, along with at least five years of experience in Salesforce development and expertise in the Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Components.
