Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality sound effects, UI sounds, and ambient audio for a video game.
  • Process and clean up voice-over (VO) recordings; ensure proper alignment with animations.
  • Blend background music (BGM) with in-game audio, ensuring smooth transitions and immersive experience.
  • Integrate and balance all audio assets (FX, VO, UI, BGM) using UE, FMOD, or Wwise.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure cohesive soundscapes across the game.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sound design for video games.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unreal Engine (UE) or middleware tools like FMOD or Wwise.
  • Experience with VO processing and ensuring proper timing / alignment with animations.
  • Ability to blend BGM, UI sounds, and FX to create a seamless audio experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    • Bonus

  • Prior gaming industry experience.
  • Expertise with UE, FMOD, or Wwise integration.
