Offshore Team Management

Key Responsibilities

Offshore Team Management & Performance :

  • Lead, manage, and support all offshore teams across functional areas, including loan support, client services, settlements, paraplanning, marketing, and administrative support
  • Implement robust performance management systems, including regular reviews, feedback mechanisms, and corrective action plans.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment that aligns with company culture and values, transcending geographical boundaries.
  • Act as the primary liaison between headquarters and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and issue resolution.

Payroll & Financial Management :

  • Oversee and ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of offshore payroll.
  • Manage offshore financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, and ensuring sufficient funds for operational continuity (e.g., payroll, vendor payments, local overheads).
  • Liaise with local accounting / finance teams and vendors to ensure adherence to local financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Monitor offshore income streams and proactively address any shortfalls, working closely with senior leadership to secure necessary operational funding.
  • Prepare and present financial reports specific to offshore operations.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement :

  • Continuously analyze and optimize offshore operational workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement best practices in offshore management, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and documentation for offshore activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and international labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships critical to offshore operations (e.g., HRIS, payroll providers, local legal counsel).
  • Strategic Planning & Growth :

  • Contributes to the strategic planning for offshore expansion and operational scaling.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, technology adoption, and resource optimization within offshore operations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on offshore market trends, risks, and opportunities.
