Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our team and support the ongoing development and enhancement of our Business Platform. In this role, you will work closely with senior product leadership to execute the product vision and strategy — with a focus on helping entrepreneurs seamlessly transition from syncing their bank accounts to streamlining their financial operations in one platform.

Your expertise in accounting principles, combined with your FinTech experience, will help ensure our solutions are accurate, compliant, and intuitive, while meeting the evolving needs of our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Support Product Vision & Alignment

Partner with senior product leaders to help define, communicate, and maintain alignment between platform capabilities, business goals, and market trends.

Contribute accounting and operational expertise to ensure financial features are accurate, compliant, and user-friendly.

Backlog & Requirements Management

Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, business value, and technical dependencies.

Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria to ensure development teams understand requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with engineering, UX / UI, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and maintain a shared understanding of deliverables.

Act as the voice of the customer, translating pain points into tangible product improvements.

Market & Competitive Insights

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product direction.

Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making for future iterations.

Platform-Specific Focus

Champion enhancements that make the transition from bank sync to payments, payroll, accounting, and cash flow management seamless and efficient.

Ensure integrations and workflows improve adoption, usability, and operational efficiency for entrepreneurs and financial network partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a product owner or in a similar product-focused role.

Strong practical experience with core accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, financial reporting).

Proven experience managing product lifecycles from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.

Demonstrated experience in the FinTech industry (highly preferred).

Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
