Security Officer - Financial Patrols Part-Time

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrols Part-Time in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a professional environment within the financial institution.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.
  • Document observations and report security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management.
  • Work collaboratively with client staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and provide assistance as required.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adjusting patrols and activities based on the needs of the financial institution location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
