CBHC Bachelor's Level Counselor

Overview

The CBHC Bachelor\'s Level Counselors will provide support to the master\'s level clinicians in crisis intervention, intake assistance and crisis stabilization services to individuals and families in evaluation and care. They help support individuals and their families and perform a variety of supportive tasks such as assisting with the implementation of the disposition determined by the master\'s-level clinician, completing intake paperwork and making necessary referrals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing support and supervision to clients
• Assisting clinician in communication with collateral contacts
• Collaboration with Mobile Crisis Intervention around admissions
• Ability to problem solve, de-escalate, and manage conflict
• Run skills group for clients during shift
• Understanding and utilize electronic health record
• Serve to model professional service delivery, where client safety and trauma-informed care is held in highest regard
• Candidates should have some experience working with youth and / or in the mental health field
