Food Lab Technician

Overview :

The Food Lab Techncian will work in an R&D environment on convenience and beverage applications.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in bench-top and pilot plant processing e.g. ingredient scale-up, getting equipment ready before testing, and post-test clean-up
• Perform basic physical and analytical analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis
• Maintain ingredient and chemical storage in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Maintain pilot plant equipment and all areas utilized by lab
• Comply with food safety and EH&S policies
• Check supplies and order as necessary
