Senior DevOps Engineer - Mandarin Speaking - Pasadena

Salary : $130,000 - 160,000 per year

Requirements :

• Fluent in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
• Authorized to work for any employer (sponsorship not available)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4-6 years of practical experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of core services such as VPC, EC2, EKS / Kubernetes, RDS, and IAM
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Experience in building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, CodeBuild, or similar
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Shell, or Go)
• Excellent system design skills, analytical thinking, and complex troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication skills across teams; experience in leading technical knowledge sharing is an advantage

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain an integrated operations and platform management system covering resource management, monitoring, configuration management, and automated operations

Build and operate observability platforms and CI / CD pipelines, developing self-healing systems and automated incident response workflows

Define development standards and best practices for DevOps; drive standardization of the toolchain, including technology selection and version management

Provide technical support at the platform level to product and engineering teams, troubleshooting complex system issues, and managing infrastructure upgrades

Promote SRE principles and engineering practices; organize technical sharing and training sessions, and establish a reliability engineering framework

Conduct technical research and innovation; monitor industry trends in DevOps and cloud infrastructure, evaluate new technologies, and pursue continuous improvement of the operations platform
