Description

Aurorium is currently seeking a Global Materials Manager to be located at one of our manufacturing facilities in the US. The roles will help deliver the goals and objectives of the Global Strategic Sourcing organization. The role supports global sourcing project execution of all aspects of the procurement process relating to tolling, packaging, and direct materials. The ideal candidates will be self-starters focused on delivering results who can work independently, identify, and provide continuous improvement opportunities, and thrive in a team environment.

Commodities and Projects

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Drive supplier innovation initiatives, ensuring access to new technologies and sustainable solutions.
• Partner with Finance to validate cost models, ensuring transparency in cost structures and savings tracking.
• Collaborate with regional / global peers to leverage spend across geographies and maximize value.
• Lead supplier / Toller risk assessments and performance ratings (Scorecards) and develop risk mitigation strategies based on these exercises.
• Ensure business continuity planning with dual-sourcing strategies where feasible.
