Massachusetts Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 18, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

On-Call : Optional (must live within 30 minutes of hospital if volunteering for on-call)

Orientation Dates : 11 / 25 / 2025, 12 / 9 / 2025

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,450 - $2,620

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN

Experience in hospitals with 1,000+ annual deliveries and high-risk labor & delivery cases

Active and valid Registered Nurse license (RN license)

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required

Ability to circulate during deliveries (scrub experience is a plus)

Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW)

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume, high-risk Labor & Delivery Unit

Circulate during deliveries; scrub role available for experienced candidates

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring technology

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
