ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Three 12-hour shifts on weekends : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM; holidays as scheduled.

\n\nJob Description\n

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Stepdown and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to higher acuity neuroscience patients, including those requiring neurological monitoring and care post-craniotomy.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Manage care for high acuity neuroscience patients.

    • \n

  • Administer medications and titrate drips per physician’s orders.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

    • \n

  • Monitor patient status and provide updates to the healthcare team.

    • \n

  • Participate in patient and family education efforts.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Mandatory BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.

    • \n

  • Experience in neuro nursing is required—specifically with EVDs, strokes, and seizures.

    • \n

  • EPIC experience is required for this role.

    • \n

  • Valid nursing license.
