Responsibilities As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include : Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) , helping patients improve strength, mobility, and functional independence. Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust exercises as appropriate within the correctional healthcare framework. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), supporting continuity of care and compliance with facility and HIPAA standards.
