• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health status and needs\n
• Manage and administer medications accurately, monitoring effects and side effects\n
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams\n
• Educate patients and provide emotional support to encourage self-care and recovery\n
• Intervene effectively during psychiatric crises to ensure patient and staff safety\n
• Maintain precise and timely documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards\n\nQualifications and Experience : \n
• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license eligibility\n
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric nursing setting\n\nSchedule : \n
• Day Shift : 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 30 p.m.\n
• Night Shift : 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 30 a.m.\n
• 36 hours per week\n\nBenefits include : \n
