Job Title : Environmental Services Tech

Reports To : Director of Environmental Services

Position Summary : Provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients in accordance with the healthcare laws and regulations of the State of Nebraska, and the directives, policies, and budgets established by KCHS.

Essential Job Functions Duties And Responsibilities :

• Perform daily cleaning tasks of the facility including the hospital, clinic, public patient areas, and office areas
• Understand daily cleaning tasks, know where all environmental services supplies are located and how to correctly use them.
• Understand and carry out correct use of all chemicals.
• Insure all areas of the facility are dust free, clean and sanitized.
• Keep all floors clean and in good conditions, may include; sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, vacuuming and shampooing.
• Keep all soap and paper towel dispensers clean, sanitized and stocked.
• Keep all utility and store rooms clean, stocked and organized.
• Make sure all carts are cleaned and supplies are stocked and ready for the next day before leaving at the end of the day
