About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Mechanic to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Manassas, VA . The Packaging Mechanic will perform setup, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of bottle packaging lines to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setup, adjustments, maintenance, and repairs on packaging and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems on production lines.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, and compressors.
• Assist with equipment installations and complete maintenance work orders.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to perform required service.
• Operate, disassemble, repair, and reassemble packaging line components, including :
• Bottle unscrambler, tablet counter, slat filler, capper, induction sealer, labeler, bander, heat tunnel, cartoner, case packer, case taper, tray former, and dust collectors.
• Ensure all operations comply with cGMP, SOP, and safety standards.
• Train and support Packaging Operators on equipment setup and sanitation.
